Abstract

The Morris Johnson Collection, consists of documents belonging to the esteemed Doctor, educator and political activist who held multiple degrees. His activist work has been felt in the community of Miami and over the world through various projects like Operation Carribean that aimed to supply underserved children with the supplies they needed. He served as an educator for 30 years and he was awarded an Endowed Teaching Chair for History and Political Science at Miami-Dade College in 2003.
