Scope and Contents of the Materials

Sonny Wright was the chairman of Peoples National Bank of Commerce, Florida's first blank-owned bank. In the 1980's, Wright utilized his time as the chairman of Peoples National to create interest in black theater and support black Miami art programming through loan agreements.
