Research Appointments & Policies

Research Appointments

The Black Archives is open to researchers by appointment.  Appointments must be made in advance.  Research days are Wednesdays from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm. Appointments can be scheduled during other days and times at the request of the researcher, subject to approval by the Archivist.

Researcher Forms

To protect our unique and irreplaceable materials, some basic Rules and Procedures need to be followed by all researchers.  Liability regulations require that researchers fill out a Research Application Form for each research project they undertake at The Black Archives.  The Research Application Form must be filled out and returned to The Black Archives before a research appointment can be scheduled.
