The BellSouth Liberty City Community Relations Team (CRT) proudly to presented the 10th edition of the Miami/Dade County African-American History Calendar. Each year the calendar is distributed to more than 300 schools throughout the area. The calendar is used as a year-round tool to educate students and others about the rich history of African-Americans in Dade County. The 2003-2004 calendar cover commemorates the covers of the (9) preceding calendars, which showcase the original artwork of local artists of African descent. The Black Archives, History and Research Foundation of South Florida, Inc.'s vast collection of documents, photographs, and other memorabilia serves as a vital resource for the accuracy of the information provided in the calendars.
