Brief Description: The collection consists of the papers and artifacts of the Chapman family from 1894 to 1950 acquired during the restoration of the Chapman family home circa 1990.  Dr. William Chapman, patriarch of the Chapman family, was a physician and educator.  The papers include school projects, certificates, diplomas, licenses, deeds, plaques, and a church bulletin. The plaques contain photos and diplomas from Walden University and Meharry Medical College.

Wilhelmina Louise Chapman Rhetta: Daughter, of Dr. and Mrs. W. A. Chapman, became a school teacher, employed by Dade County Public Schools
