Brief Description: This collection contains calendars from 1994 to 2017 created by the AT&T (formerly Bellsouth) Liberty City Community Relations Team (CRT) with the assistance of The Black Archives. Each calendar contains the annual black history theme obtained from the ASALH (Association for the Study of African- American Life and History), brief biographical sketches of local black leaders in the South Florida area, and information on places and events that have made a considerable contribution to the history and/ or social status of the South Florida black community. The calendars serve as a quick research guide to individuals seeking significant information on local members of the community. The collection does not contain the materials used to compile the information contained in the calendars.
