Biographical Note for Jack and Jill of America, Inc. - Miami Chapter (1964- 2001) : In 1962, Mrs. Geraldine Arrington and 15 mothers discussed a Miami organization of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. In 1964 the National President Mrs. Margeret Sims installed the Miami chapter. The chapter holds a life membership with NAACP, and has hosted AREA Mothers workshops, regional conferences, teen conferences and national conventions. The chapter has Grade groups and members such as Pee Wees, Explorers, JetSets and Txixteens/ teens.
