Acquisition Notes: Regina Thomas  After viewing the file names written by the preceding Archivist Donette Manning, I (India Ferguson), picked off where she left and began to label folders 6 through 9. I would like to note that file folder #7 titled: "Official Reports" has relevant information papers that are directly related to file folder #3: "Federation Black Employees". In addition, the images in file folder #8 titled "Photographs", were not given individually labeled. There are 13 non-original images that copied using a printer scanner onto 8x11 paper. In total this collection contains 3 boxes. Box 1 contains 9 folders, Box 2 contains 3 bottles of hair care products that were created by Joseph Silas' himself under the name: JBS Maximum Hair Care System. More specifically Box 2 contains: 2 Oil Sheen and Comb Out Conditioners as well as 1 Super Gro Grease. Box #3 contains 2 official letters of Resolution and 1 cloth item: Joseph Silas' black cloak, A signed resolution from the Miami-Dade County mayor and lastly, a resolution from the city of Opa-Locka.
