Brief Description: This themed, composite collection consists of materials documenting African American organizations in the Miami area. It includes a wide array of information on the existence of social, civic, civil, service, secret, and elite societal clubs, sororities, and fraternities in South Florida, including information on the King of Clubs, Egolloc Club, Alpha Kappa Alpha, and the Links. Materials include photographs, newspaper articles, documents, pamphlets, and directories.
